Compact and inexpensive Holmes heating unit February 10, 2010

The heaters are relatively inexpensive and very compact. Overall, I think they are worth the money. The only complaint with the unit is that, unlike a lot of others I've had, it doesn't automatically shut off upon tipping. The manual says it will shut off if tipped, but it isn't immediate. Would prefer to see that safety feature improved, however I may be missing something. The unit remains cool on the outside and presents less hazard in a lot of ways to others, so a plus there.

This is the 2nd of this heater I've owned. Output of heat and fan are about the best I've encountered. I use this one in my bathroom for chilly mornings. My last one lasted about 3 years, but it was used every day at least for a little while each day. I would definitely recommend. Others I've tried just did not compare in the amount of air produced.

Great product. For its size the Holmes HFH105 heats a small single room very well. It may be a bit noisy but that should not refrain you from buying the product. Its not very expensive but you will see a definite increase in your electricity bill but a bargain in terms of overall energy cost savings.

Mine heats a small room okay and it was inexpensive but mine is very noisy and it vibrates right off the table at times. Not sure if all are like that or there is a problem with mine.
