You definitely need a 100lb propane tank to accompany this unit (initial purchase was $155 with average price for refill at $88). This unit is so easy to use. We have a 1500 sq.ft. space as follows: open vent shingled roof vaulted, walls are temporary Vinyl and canvas (like restaurant patios). The adjustable thermostadt has been set at 82-degrees inside while it was 38-degrees outside, and it cut off several times. It could've been 95 if we'd set it there! It has already paid for itself many times over. The propane tank lasts for three 8 hour events if it's freezing ouside and set at 76-degree inside a moderatley covered area. We love it.
