5 out of 5 stars Perfect heater for me   April 6, 2009

I am very pleased with this heater. I use it to heat ME, while using my computer in the basement. It does a wonderful job. It also oscillates if needed, it can be used as a fan without heat in the summertime, it has a very convenient remote control, it looks good, it's reasonable. I'm very happy with it. I have no idea how it would work in a larger room, but if you want a nice heater for yourself, you can't go wrong with this one, in my opinion.

We have a very cold family room in our basement and this is the only tower heater that ever did the job. The room goes from 58 degrees to 70 degrees in about an hour. It's quiet, looks good, and puts out the heat. We love DeLonhi products and this one is worth every penny spent.

This heater runs quietly and heats very well. Very good temperature controls and operation adjustments. I will probably buy at least two more to help lower my heating costs at my primary home.

I wanted to use this heater for several weeks before writing a review. We use it in our large living room which is about 600 sq. ft. with 10' a cathedral ceiling. It is early Jan. and we live in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mtns with lows about 35-40.

The heater does a very nice job and keeps the room at about 64 degrees while the other rooms in the house are unheated at are around 55 degrees. In a small dining area, where we eat our meals, it gets warm very fast. Also it heats our bathroom quickly.

The heater takes a little getting used to and the controls are easy to operate after a little while. A switch for on and off, one for lowering and raising the temp., one for mode (auto, low, high), and the other for rotation on and off.

The remote is handy to use and the only change I would suggest would be a place to put the remote on the heater.

I am well satisified with performance and it has been the best electric heater I have owned.

The first one came from HAMMACHER SCHLEMMER and we paid alot more for it. We liked it so well that we bought this one. Great. HAMMACHER SCHLEMMER lists it is "The Best" and I have to agree.
