I just bought this heater because of its size. I need for our boat to help the bathroom (head) stay warm and keep moisture out. The fit is perfect since we have limited counter space. I wish the heater was a bit stronger though. Heater is only 155 watts which isn't much. I just read the reviews above.. Hope my heater doesn't stop working in a couple of weeks!

I ordered this item with some trepidation. I've not had much luck with Sharper Image products. The ad advises extreme caution, all sides get very hot. Not true based on this one unit. I've used with a happy smile for a week...gives off nice heat for such a small item. Not hot sides or back. I use mine on the floor, away from combustionables, and I'm happy. I'd pay a bit more if it had a remote. Neat.
FOLLOW -UP: SPOKE TO SOON. STOPPED WORKING..TRIED OTHER OUTLETS, JUST DIED.

This little heater would be great if it worked longer than 3 weeks. Its nice and small, cute looking, makes good heat, and is quiet. Unfortunately it stopped working after about three weeks of light use.
